License and Expiration

With ThemeREX regular license, you are licensed to use this plugin to create End Product(s) (the final website customized with your content) for yourself or a client.

Selecting a License and Subscription Type

When purchasing, you can choose the license that best fits your needs:

  1. Subscription period — Select either an annual or lifetime subscription.
  2. Coverage — Decide whether to subscribe for a single site, 10 sites, or unlimited sites.
  3. Expiration reminders — When your license nears expiration, the system will notify you several times to renew your subscription.

What Happens if Your Subscription Expires?

If you choose not to renew your subscription after it expires:

  1. Your website, plugins, and add-ons will continue to function without interruption.
  2. You will lose access to the support portal.
  3. You will no longer receive updates, new features.

License Terms and Restrictions

Permitted Use

With our licenses, you are allowed to:

  • Create websites according to your subscription plan (1, 10, or unlimited) for yourself or your clients. You may transfer a completed website to a client for any fee; in such cases, the license is also transferred.
  • Install the plugin on a test or development server for testing and development purposes.
  • Migrate projects from development to production:
    1. Before moving a project from a staging server to the live domain, create a backup.
    2. Disconnect the license from the staging domain and activate it on the live domain.
    3. A single-site license permits only one active installation at a time — either on a development or on a live domain.
  • Continue using the development installation after migration, with the following limitations: updates are disabled.
  • Transfer the license between production and development environments at any time, as needed.
  • Modify or customize the theme and combine it with other works to create an End Product.

Prohibited Use

With our licenses, you are not permitted to:

  1. Exceed the number of live websites allowed by your subscription plan. For additional websites, an unlimited site license is required.
  2. Resell the same website (Single End Product) to multiple clients, unless you hold an unlimited site license.

Attention! Any attempt to use a single license on multiple live websites beyond the limits of your subscription plan may result in the license key being temporarily or permanently blocked by the licensing system.

What the Plugin Does

ThemeREX WooCommerce Extensions for Elementor plugin turns every part of a WooCommerce store into something you can design visually in Elementor.

Out of the box, WooCommerce renders the shop, product, cart, checkout and account pages with fixed templates that are hard to customize. This plugin replaces those templates with a library of Elementor widgets and a template-assignment system, so you can lay out and style each page exactly the way you want.

IMPORTANT! ThemeREX WooCommerce Extensions for Elementor works as an extension for Elementor and WooCommerce, adding extra widgets and customization options. It cannot be used on its own. Before using the plugin, ensure that WooCommerce is fully configured, including products, shop pages, payment methods, shipping settings, and other store-related options.

The plugin is organised around two ideas:

  • Widgets (from the "ThemeREX Woo Templates group") - dozens of WooCommerce-aware Elementor widgets (product grid, filters, gallery, add-to-cart, tabs, cart, checkout, etc.). Each exposes content/behavior controls plus the full range of Elementor style controls.
These widgets are designed to help you create custom templates that override the default WooCommerce template layouts.
  • Templates - new "TRX Woo Templates" custom post type (under the WooCommerce/Theme Panel tab) that you build with Elementor using those widgets and then assign as the output template for the shop archive, a category, or single products.

A set of optional modules adds higher-level features on top: variation Swatches, reusable Custom Tabs, Size Guides, a Wishlist, a Compare tool, and an Out-of-Stock position control.

How It Works

  1. Enable the widgets and modules you want on the settings page (WP Dashboard > WooCommerce > TRX Woo Extensions) - everything is on by default.
  2. Build a template layout in Elementor — for example, you can create an Archive Product Template using Product Grid and filter widgets to build custom shop and category pages, or a Single Product Template using dedicated product widgets to design individual product pages.

    To create a new template:
    - Proceed to "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates" menu item.
    - Click the Add New Template button at the top of the screen.
    - Specify your template title and select the corresponding template type from the dropdown list. Set the rest options if available. Click the "Create Template" or the "Edit with Elementor" button.
    - Customize your template via the Elementor - click "Edit", scroll down to the "ThemeREX Woo Templates group" of widgets and assemble the layout to your needs.
  3. For Cart/Checkout/My Account/Whishlist/Compare pages:

Assign the template on the settings page (WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Templates) to substitute the corresponding WooCommerce default template.

For Shop page, product categories/subcategories pages, and single products:

Set include/exclude categories while creating/managing your TRX Woo template. Click inside the empty field to display the available categories, then select as many as you would like to specify.

Include — apply this template to the selected product categories.
Exclude — do not apply this template to the selected categories; they will continue to use the default WooCommerce layout.

Options in the Create New TRX Woo Template popup: The include/exclude options in the Create New TRX Woo Template popup Options in the existing TRX Woo Templates (bottom right corner): The include/exclude options in the existing TRX Woo Templates Create dedicated TRX Woo Templates for specific product categories or subcategories to use them only where needed.

Templates for the Shop page, product category and subcategory pages, and single product pages are applied automatically as soon as they are saved. No additional assignment is required.
  4. On the front end the plugin automatically swaps WooCommerce’s default output for your template, feeding it the correct query for the current context (shop, category, tag or attribute archive).

PLEASE NOTE! If the ThemeREX Addons plugin is also active, the plugin’s settings and templates appear inside the theme’s Theme Panel. If not, the settings and templates appear under WooCommerce. Everything else works identically.

Where the Widgets Live

The ThemeREX WooCommerce Extensions for Elementor plugin expands Elementor with a collection of dedicated WooCommerce widgets, grouped under "ThemeREX Woo Templates group" in the Elementor panel. These widgets are designed for building custom WooCommerce templates, allowing you to replace default store layouts with fully customized designs for shop pages, product pages, Cart, Checkout, My Account, Wishlist, Compare, and other WooCommerce areas.

Widget availability depends on which modules and widgets are enabled on the "General" settings tab in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions".

Attention! Important Notice!

  • Single Product widgets can only be used within TRX Woo Templates of the Single Product type.
  • Product Grid widgets can be used within TRX Woo Templates of the Shop Page type or on any regular Elementor page.
  • Filter widgets must be placed on the same page or template as the Product Grid widget. They connect automatically and update product results dynamically via AJAX.
  • Compare Button and Wishlist Button widgets are intended for use in header, menu, and other navigation areas.
  • Cart, Checkout, My Account, Compare, and Wishlist widgets can only be used within TRX Woo Templates of their corresponding types. Before using these widgets, make sure the related WooCommerce pages have been created and properly configured.

You can find detailed descriptions of all widgets in the corresponding sections of this documentation, organized by functionality.

The plugin settings page allows you to configure all available features and customize how the plugin works on your website.

To access it, navigate to WooCommerce > TRX Woo Extensions (or Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions if the ThemeREX Addons plugin is also installed). The settings are organized into eight tabs for easier navigation. After making any changes, click Save Options to apply them. The plugin settings under 'WooCommerce > TRX Woo Extensions'

Below is a brief description of all the available settings.

General — Modules & Widgets

The Modules tab is where you switch individual features on and off. It has two checklists: Modules and Widgets. General tab — enable/disable WooCommerce modules and Elementor widgets

WooCommerce Modules

These are the plugin’s main features. The plugin includes a unified template system for shop pages, product pages, custom tabs, size guides, and WooCommerce account pages, managed through the TRX Woo Templates post type. The template system is always active; the options below simply let you enable or disable specific features. Enable only the ones you need to keep your setup streamlined.

Module Purpose
Archive Product Template Shop Page Renderer — enables custom TRX Woo Templates of the Shop Page type to replace the default WooCommerce layout on shop, product category, and product tag archive pages.
Single Product Template Single Product Renderer — displays custom TRX Woo Templates of the Single Product type to replace the default layout on individual WooCommerce product pages.
Custom Tabs Custom Tab Renderer — enables reusable TRX Woo Templates of the Custom Tab type to add custom tabs with additional content to WooCommerce product pages.
Size Guide Size Guide Renderer — enables TRX Woo Templates of the Size Guide type to display custom size guides on WooCommerce product pages through a dedicated button or tab.
Swatches Variation Swatches — replaces standard WooCommerce variation dropdowns with color, image, and button swatches for a more intuitive product selection experience.
Wishlist Enables wishlist functionality, including wishlist buttons, product storage, dedicated page widgets, and a Wishlist section in the customer’s My Account area.
Compare Compare Products — enables product comparison functionality, including compare buttons, product storage, comparison table widgets, and a Compare section in the customer’s My Account area.
Out of Stock Position Out-of-Stock Product Sorting — automatically moves out-of-stock products to the end of shop and archive product listings, helping customers focus on available items first.

IMPORTANT! When a module is disabled, its functionality reverts to the default WooCommerce behavior, and any widgets associated with that module become unavailable.

Widgets

This section lists all Elementor widgets provided by the plugin, including widgets for product catalogs, single-product pages, WooCommerce account pages, cart and checkout pages, as well as various utility widgets.

Disable any widgets you do not plan to use to keep the Elementor editor organized and easier to navigate. Disabled widgets will no longer appear in the Elementor panel.

These widgets can be found grouped under "ThemeREX Woo Templates group" in the Elementor panel. The 'ThemeREX Woo Templates group' of widgets in the Elementor panel

The detailed descriptions of all widgets is available in the corresponding sections of this documentation, organized by functionality.

IMPORTANT! If you disable a widget, its settings will be reset to the default WooCommerce values. You can re-enable it at any time and reconfigure it if it was turned off by mistake.

Templates

This tab lets you assign TRX Woo Templates to different WooCommerce page contexts. Each context provides a dropdown list of available published templates of the matching type. Selecting a template replaces the default WooCommerce layout for that page, while choosing "- Not Selected -" keeps the standard WooCommerce design. Templates tab – assign TRX Woo Templates to WooCommerce page contexts

Below is a brief overview of each template type:

  • Cart Template — replaces the default WooCommerce cart page with a custom TRX Woo Template of the "Cart" type.
  • Checkout Template — replaces the default WooCommerce checkout page with a custom TRX Woo Template of the "Checkout" type.
  • My Account Template — replaces the default WooCommerce account page (including all endpoints) with a custom TRX Woo Template of the "My Account" type.
  • Wishlist Template — sets the TRX Woo Template of the "Wishlist" type as your wishlist page. This page is used by the Wishlist button and is also available from the My Account section.
  • Compare Template — sets the TRX Woo Template of the "Compare" type as your compare page. This page is used by the Compare button and is also available from the My Account section.

IMPORTANT! The shop/category/tag archive and the single-product pages do not require any assignment. You control which template applies to them with each TRX Woo Template’s own Include/Exclude category rules ("Shop Page" and "Single Product" template types). These templates are applied automatically as soon as they are saved.

Custom Tabs

This section lets you control the position of custom product tabs in the WooCommerce tab order using a single setting. Available settings under 'Custom Tabs'

Available setting:

  • Tab Priority Offset — controls where the first custom tab appears in the WooCommerce tab order. Default WooCommerce tabs use priorities like 10, 20, and 30. The default value of 50 places custom tabs after the native ones, and each additional custom tab is added with a step of 10.

PLEASE NOTE! You can add extra tabs to single product pages by creating "Custom Tab" templates under "WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates". Each tab’s visibility is set in the template settings, and you can further adjust or override it for specific products in the product edit screen.

A single custom tab can be assigned to multiple products, and a product can display multiple custom tabs. This type of templates works within the "Single Product Tabs" widget.

Size Guide

This section allows you to define the default way size guides are displayed on product pages. The 'Size Guide' tab with available settings

Available setting:

  • Display Type — choose how size guides appear on product pages by default. You can display them as a button next to product attributes or as a custom tab inside the product tabs section. This setting can also be changed for individual products.

PLEASE NOTE! You can add Size Guide to single product pages by creating "Size Guide" templates under "WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates" and outputting them on a single product through the "Single Product Tabs" widget (as a tab) and the "Single Product Add to Cart" widget (as a button).

All reusable WooCommerce layouts and content are managed through TRX Woo Templates. Each template has a specific type that determines where it can be used, such as a shop page, product page, custom tab, size guide, cart page, checkout page, wishlist page, or customer account page.

Once the plugin is installed and activated, a new Custom Post Type (TRX Woo Templates) appears in your dashboard under the WooCommerce menu or under Theme Panel if the ThemeREX Addons plugin is also installed. The TRX Woo Templates menu item under the WooCoomerce tab in the WP Dashboard

The template list is organized by Type, making it easy to find the templates you need. Use the tabs at the top of the page to filter templates by type, and refer to the Type column to see the purpose of each template at a glance.

Types of Templates

You can find the WooCommerce templates under the "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates" menu item.

  • Cart Template — Replaces the default WooCommerce Cart page with a custom TRX Woo Template of the "Cart" type.
  • Checkout Template — Replaces the default WooCommerce Checkout page with a custom TRX Woo Template of the "Checkout" type.

A single custom tab can be assigned to multiple products, and a product can display multiple custom tabs. This type of templates works within the "Single Product Tabs" widget.
  • Size Guide Template — A reusable size and fit guide containing charts, tables, images, or descriptions. It can be displayed on product pages either as a button near a relevant product attribute (such as Size) or as a separate product tab. This type of templates works within the "Single Product Tabs" (as a tab) and the "Single Product Add to Cart" (as a button) widgets.

PLEASE NOTE! If the ThemeREX Addons plugin is also active, the plugin’s settings and templates appear inside the theme’s Theme Panel. If not, the settings and templates appear under WooCommerce. Everything else works identically.

Template Settings (meta box)

Every TRX Woo Templates has a shared Template Settings box. Below is the popup window used to create a new template. The popup window with a new template creation

Field What it does
Type What the template is used for (Shop Page, Single Product, Custom Tab, Size Guide, Cart, Checkout, My Account, Wishlist, Compare). A list of the available template types can be found here.
Include Product categories the template applies to. Leave empty to keep it inactive (not used). Choose "All Products" for a global template. Shown only for the category-resolved types (Shop Page, Single Product, Custom Tab, Size Guide).
Exclude Categories where it does not apply (overrides Include; covers sub-categories).

Additional settings may appear depending on the template type you select.

For example, Custom Tab templates include a Priority and Label setting, while Size Guide templates provide options such as Attach to Attributes, Label, and Icon. These settings are explained later in this chapter.

Templates used for Cart, Checkout, My Account, Wishlist, and Compare pages do not use category assignment rules and are instead assigned directly from the Templates tab in the plugin settings (WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions).

PLEASE NOTE! The additional settings can be configured either when creating a new template through the popup window or later while editing an existing TRX Woo Template (located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen): The include/exclude options in the existing TRX Woo Templates

How Template Assignment Works

TRX Woo Templates can be assigned globally or to specific product categories. This section describes the template selection rules used by the plugin to determine which template is displayed on a given page.

The shop/category/tag archive and the single-product pages do not require any assignment in the plugin settings. You control which template applies to them with each TRX Woo Template’s own Include/Exclude category rules ("Shop Page" and "Single Product" template types). These templates are applied automatically as soon as they are saved.

PLEASE NOTE! The Include/Exclude settings can be configured either when creating a new template through the popup window or later while editing an existing TRX Woo Template (located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen):

When multiple templates are available, the plugin selects the most appropriate one using the template’s Include and Exclude category settings.

Selection order based on category rules:

  • Templates assigned to a specific product category take priority over more general templates.
  • Category assignments automatically apply to subcategories unless excluded.
  • Excluded categories always take precedence over included categories.
  • If no category-specific template matches, the plugin falls back to a global template configured for All Products.
  • Only one template is applied to a page at a time.

Unlike Shop Page and Single Product templates, the Cart, Checkout, My Account, Wishlist, and Compare pages do not use category rules. Their templates are selected directly from the Templates tab in the plugin settings (WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions).

Recommended Setup:

For the best results, start by creating:

  • One default Shop Page template;
  • One default Single Product template;

These templates will serve as the global fallback for your store. You can then create additional category-specific templates only where a different layout is needed. For example, you might create a dedicated Clothing product template that includes size guides or variation swatches not used elsewhere.

Custom Tabs

A "Custom Tab Template" is a reusable content block that adds custom tabs to product pages alongside the default Description, Additional Information, and Reviews tabs.

A single custom tab can be assigned to multiple products, and a product can display multiple custom tabs.

Where the content from a "Custom Tabs" template is displayed:

  • On a single product alongside the default WooCommerce tabs: Description, Additional Information, and Reviews - just create a "Custom Tabs" template and assign it to a definite single product (single product settings > Product data > Custom Tabs) or a product category (Include/Exclude rules).
  • On a single product anywhere on a page through the "Single Product Tabs" widget inserted into a "Single Product" template.

Creating a Custom Tab template

  1. Go to WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template and choose "Custom Tab" as a type for a template.
  2. Give it a title (used as the tab label) and build its content with the editor or with Elementor (click "Edit with Elementor" button).
  3. Set the visibility rules in the Template Settings box (see below) and Publish.

Template Settings

Open an existing TRX Woo Template of a "Custom Tabs" type and find the settings located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen: Settings located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen

Field What it does
Include Product categories where this tab is shown. Leave empty (or pick "All products") to show it on every product.
Exclude Categories where the tab is not shown — this overrides Include and also covers sub-categories.
Priority Position in the WooCommerce tab list. Native tabs use 10/20/30; leave empty to auto-assign after the native tabs.
Label Tab title shown on the frontend. Falls back to the post title.

Per-product override

When editing a single product, you’ll find a Custom Tabs section inside the Product data box. By default, it uses the global Include/Exclude rules that are set in templates of a "Custom Tabs" type. You can also select a specific "Custom Tabs" template to override this behavior and display only the tabs you choose for that product. Per-product Custom Tabs assignment on the product edit screen.

How to Output Custom Tabs Outside Default WooCommerce Tabs

You can make content from your "Custom Tabs" template appear anywhere on a single product.

  • Make sure you have a configured "Custom Tabs" template with specified Include/Exclude rules.
  • Open a "Single Product" template (WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates) in Elementor and place the "Single Product Tabs" widget in the desired location where you want your custom tabs to appear.
  • Navigate to "Edit Single Product Tabs > Content > Display Options".
  • In the "Show Tabs" field, click the empty input area and select your newly created "Custom Tab" template from the list.
  • Save or update the template. The custom tab will now be available on the applicable product pages.

Example (Custom Tabs template displayed in a form of accordion): Custom accordion with additional information on a single product, the content is taken from Custom Tabs templates

Size Guides

A "Size Guide Template" is a reusable size and fit guide containing charts, tables, images, or descriptions that appears on single product pages.

Where the content from a "Size Guides" template is displayed:

Creating a Size Guide template

  1. Go to WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template and choose "Size Guide" as a type for a template.
  2. Add a title and build the guide content with the editor or with Elementor (click "Edit with Elementor" button).
  3. Fill in the visibility and attachment fields in the Template Settings box (see below) and Publish.

Template Settings

Open an existing TRX Woo Template of a "Size Guide" type and find the settings located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen: Settings located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen

Field What it does
Include Categories where this guide is available.
Exclude Categories where it is not available (overrides Include).
Attach to attributes In Button mode, the Size Guide button is placed next to the items of each selected attribute (e.g. next to "Size" or "Style").
Label Button / tab text. Falls back to the post title.
Icon Optional SVG icon shown before the label on the button. SVG files only!

Per-product override

When editing a single product, you’ll find a Size Guide section inside the Product data box. Here you can choose a specific guide (or Default (auto-pick by category)) and a Display Type (Default, As button, or Custom Tab) for that product. Per-product Size Guide selection and display type

The "Display Type" modes:

  • Default - inherited from the global settings in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Size Guide"
  • Button - the guide opens in a popup from a button next to the chosen attribute. This mode is enabled globally by default. The "Single Product Add to Cart" widget can output this button if you are using a separate "Single Product" template. The guide opens in a popup from a button next to the chosen attribute
  • Custom Tab - it becomes a tab in the "Single Product Tabs" widget; Custom accordion with additional information on a single product, the content is taken from Custom Tabs and Size Guides templates

The Archive Product Template Module can be enabled or disabled in the "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General" settings.

When enabled, the module adds a new Shop Page template type under "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates", along with a collection of Elementor widgets whose names begin with "Product Grid". These widgets can be found in the ThemeREX Woo Templates widget group.

The module allows you to create custom layouts for WooCommerce product archive pages, including the main shop page, product category pages, product tag archives, and other product listing pages. This gives you full control over how products are displayed and how customers browse your catalog.

How Shop Page Templates Work

A Shop Page Template is a TRX Woo Template of the "Shop Page" type found under "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel" - an Elementor-built layout designed to display product listings along with the tools customers use to browse and filter products.

Key points to remember:

  • The Product Grid widget is the core element of every Shop Page Template. Set its "Source" (Edit Product Grid > Content > Query) to "Main" so it automatically displays products from the current page, whether it’s the shop page, a category archive, a tag archive, or an attribute archive.
  • Filter, sorting, search, pagination, product count, breadcrumbs, and other archive-related widgets must be placed on the same page or template as the Product Grid widget. They connect automatically and update product results dynamically via AJAX without reloading the page.
  • A common layout is to place filters in a sidebar column and the Product Grid in the main column of the content area and style the page elements using Elementor and the widgets’ Style settings.

Creating a Shop Page Template

  1. Go to WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template.
  2. Choose "Shop Page" as the template type.
  3. Enter a title for the template.
  4. Configure the template visibility using the Include and Exclude options. You can update these settings at any time from the Template Settings panel while editing the template.
  5. Click "Edit with Elementor" button and build your archive layout.
  6. Publish the template.

You can create multiple Shop Page Templates for different product categories or archive sections of your store if they require different layouts.

Template Settings

Open a Shop Page template and locate the Template Settings panel in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen: Settings located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen, Shop Page Template

Field What it does
Include Select the product categories where this template should be used. Choose All Products to make it the global default Shop Page Template. If no categories are selected, the template remains inactive and will not be used.
Exclude Select categories where the template should not be used. Excluded categories always take priority over included categories and also apply to their subcategories.

Template Assignment

Shop Page Templates do not need to be assigned through the plugin settings.

Instead, the plugin automatically selects the appropriate template based on the Include and Exclude category rules configured for each Shop Page Template. Once a template is published, it becomes available for automatic use.

PLEASE NOTE! The Include/Exclude rules can be configured either when creating a new template through the template creation popup or later while editing an existing TRX Woo Template using the Template Settings panel located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen.

Product Grid Widgets

The widgets described below are designed for creating shop archive and product listing templates. They provide the functionality needed to display products, build custom shop layouts, and enhance product browsing.

In the Elementor editor, these widgets can be found in the ThemeREX Woo Templates widget group. All Product Grid widgets have names that begin with "Product Grid", making them easy to locate in the Elementor panel.

Explore each widget below to learn its purpose, available settings, and how it can be used within your Shop Page Templates.

In addition to these widget-specific options, all widgets support Elementor’s standard Style controls, allowing you to customize typography, colors, borders, spacing, hover and active states, as well as responsive settings. Since these controls are common throughout Elementor, they are mentioned only briefly and are not covered in detail for each widget.

Product Grid

The Product Grid widget is the core widget for displaying WooCommerce products. It can present products in a grid or carousel layout and gives you full control over the content and structure of each product card. The widget can display products from the current shop/archive page or use a custom query to create curated product collections anywhere on your site.

Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;

Below you can find some important settings:

  • General - сonfigure the overall layout and appearance of the product listing:

    • Products Per Row — define the number of columns for different screen sizes.
    • Products Per Page — set how many products are displayed before pagination is applied.
  • Display Options - сontrol exactly what appears inside each product card and in what order. The available settings depend on the Style/Layout selected in the General tab.

    • Set the position of the Add to Cart button.
    • Customize the Buy Now and Read More button text.

Filter Widgets

You can add any combination of these filter widgets to a sidebar or an off-canvas filter panel (opened via the "Product Grid Filter: Button" widget). Once placed on the same page as a Product Grid widget, they automatically connect to it and update the displayed products.

All filter widgets include a shared set of options. You can add an optional Title with a collapsible toggle (expand/collapse icon), and enable product count badges next to each filter option to show how many products match.

The example below shows several filter widgets arranged in a single sidebar column: Filter widgets in sidebar

Now the filter widgets in an off-canvas filter panel:. A popup panel with filters

Product Grid Active Filters

Displays all currently applied Product Grid filters as clickable filter tags, making it easy for customers to see which filters are active and remove them individually. An optional "Clear All" button allows shoppers to reset all filters with a single click and return to the full product catalog.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget and Product Grid filter widgets placed on the same page.

You can customize the widget title and its HTML tag, choose between horizontal or vertical layouts, and optionally hide the widget when no filters are active, keeping your shop interface clean and user-friendly.

How it works:

  1. Add an Elementor container to your page or template/layout.
  2. Place the "Product Grid Active Filters" widget inside the container and configure its settings.
  3. Add the remaining Product Grid filter widgets below the "Product Grid Active Filters" widget and adjust their settings as needed. The back-end structure of the container with 'Product Grid Active Filters' widget
  4. Save your changes. The active filters selected by customers will be displayed at the top of the filter area, similar to the example below: The active filters selected by customers displayed at the top of the filter area

Example: A visual demonstration of clickable filter tags with a 'Clear All' button

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;

The filter can be displayed as a traditional list or as inline options. For supported attributes, you can enable visual swatches to display colors, images, or buttons instead of plain text, creating a more intuitive shopping experience.

Additional options let you choose whether to display all attribute terms or only selected ones, show product counts, hide empty terms, and control the ordering of filter values. This helps customers find the products they’re looking for faster and more easily.

Example (Color attribute): The product filter showing Color attribute

Product Grid Filter: Brand

Adds a brand filter to your Product Grid, allowing customers to quickly browse products from their favorite brands. The filter can be displayed as a traditional list or as inline options, making it easy to integrate into any shop layout.

This makes brand-based navigation more intuitive and user-friendly.

Example (list input): The demonstration of the Brand filter using list layout

Product Grid Filter: Button

Adds a filter button that opens your Product Grid filters in a convenient off-canvas panel, helping save space and improve the shopping experience, especially on tablets and mobile devices. Customers can open the panel, adjust filters, and quickly return to browsing products.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget and a container with the filters placed on the same page. They connect automatically and refresh via AJAX.

You can customize the button text and icon, choose which filter container should be displayed inside the panel, and set the screen width at which the button becomes visible. Additional options allow you to choose whether the panel slides in from the left or right, display a close button, and add a "Show Results" button with a live product count that updates as filters are applied. This makes product filtering more intuitive and user-friendly on smaller screens.

How it works:

  1. Add the "Product Grid" widget to your page or template.
  2. Insert the "Product Grid Filter: Button" widget on the same page or template.
  3. Create a separate container (usually at the bottom of the page) and place all your filters inside it. This container will be used for the off-canvas panel.
  4. Assign a CSS ID to the filter container, for example: filters-container.
  5. In the "Product Grid Filter: Button" settings, enter the container selector in the "Container Selector" field using a hash prefix, for example: #filters-container.
  6. Save your changes.

Example: Filter button on a Shop page

Product Grid Filter: Category

Adds a product category filter to your shop pages, making it easier for customers to browse and narrow down products by category. Choose from multiple display styles, including a list, dropdown, inline links, or a grid of category cards, depending on the layout of your store.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

You can display all categories, only parent categories, only child categories, a custom selection of categories, or even custom links. The widget also includes an optional "All Products" button to quickly reset the filter and return to the full product catalog.

Additional features include hierarchical category navigation with expandable subcategories, category images and product counts (for Grid display type), customizable grid columns and spacing, optional carousel support for Simple and Grid layouts, sorting options (by name, product count, or ID), and the ability to hide empty categories. This allows you to create a more intuitive and user-friendly product browsing experience.

Example: Сategory filter on a Shop page

Product Grid Filter: Price

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

You can customize the currency symbol and its position, control where the slider and price labels appear, define the price step increment, and set an apply delay to determine how quickly the product grid refreshes after the price range changes. This helps create a smooth and user-friendly filtering experience.

Example: Here is an example of the Price filter in an off-canvas panel

Product Grid Filter: Rating

Adds a rating filter to your Product Grid, allowing customers to display only products that meet a selected minimum star rating. This makes it easier for shoppers to find highly rated products and make more confident purchasing decisions.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;

Example: The demonstration of the Rating filter with '& up' label

Product Grid Filter: Stock Status

You can display the filter as a list or inline options and choose between checkbox-style controls or switchers. Each filter option can be enabled or disabled individually, and its label can be customized to match your store’s terminology and design.

Example: Here is an example of the Stock Status filter in a panel

Product Grid Filter: Tag

Adds a product tag filter to your Product Grid, allowing customers to narrow down products using tags such as New, Featured, Summer Collection, Bestseller, or any other tags used in your catalog.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

The filter can be displayed as a traditional checkbox list or as a tag cloud, where more popular tags appear larger than others. You can customize the minimum and maximum font sizes used in the cloud view to create the desired visual effect.

Additional options let you display all tags or only selected ones, show product counts, hide empty tags, and control the ordering of tag entries, helping customers discover products more easily.

Example: The front-end view of the Elementor 'Nav Menu' widget

Toolbar & Navigation Widgets

The widgets listed below are used to build and customize the top control area of the shop page. They help users navigate product listings more easily by adding breadcrumbs, search, sorting options, pagination, and other essential toolbar elements above/below the Product Grid.

Product Grid Breadcrumbs

This Elementor widget displays WooCommerce breadcrumbs to help customers understand their current location within your store and easily navigate back to previous pages. The breadcrumb trail automatically updates on shop, category, tag, and single product pages to reflect the current page context.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

You can customize the alignment and choose a custom separator between breadcrumb items. The widget also includes styling options for links, hover states, the current page item, separators, and the breadcrumb container, allowing it to blend seamlessly with your store design.

Example: Breadcrumbs on a shop page

Product Grid Columns

This Elementor widget adds a column switcher to the Product Grid, allowing customers to change how many products are displayed per row. This helps users customize the layout for better browsing comfort, especially on different screen sizes.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

You can display the switcher as buttons or a dropdown, and define multiple layout presets using a repeater. Each preset can include responsive column settings, a custom title or icon, and an option to set it as the default layout.

Example (dropdown): A Grid Column switcher in a form of dropdown list

Example (buttons): A Grid Column switcher in a form of buttons

Product Grid Count

Adds a "products per page" control to the Product Grid, allowing customers to choose how many items they want to see at once. This helps users browse products at their preferred pace and view more or fewer items per page.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

You can choose how the options are displayed — as buttons, a list, or a dropdown — and define available values using a comma-separated list (for example: 12, 24, 36). The widget also lets you set a custom separator and define the default number of products shown on page load.

Example (list style): The Product Grid Count control displayed in a list style

Adds a live search field to your Product Grid, allowing customers to quickly find products by typing keywords, product names, or other searchable content. Search results update automatically as customers type, creating a fast and seamless browsing experience.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

You can customize the search field placeholder text, set the minimum number of characters required before the search begins, adjust the delay before results are refreshed, and optionally display a Clear button and custom search icon. This helps customers locate products faster and improves overall store usability.

Example: The front-end view of the Elementor 'Product Grid Filter: Search' widget

Product Grid Pagination

Adds page-number navigation (external) to Product Grid results, making it easy for customers to browse through multiple pages of products. An optional title can be displayed near the pagination, with separate styling controls available for the title.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

Unlike the built-in pagination, this widget can be placed anywhere on the page, giving you more flexibility when designing your shop or archive layouts.

The widget automatically connects to the Product Grid on the page, or you can link it to a specific grid using its Product Grid ID. When customers switch between pages, the product list updates via AJAX, providing a smooth browsing experience without reloading the entire page.

This widget works in combination with the "Product Grid" widget. To display pagination, open the "Product Grid" settings and enable external pagination by turning on both "Enable Pagination" and "External Pagination" under "Edit Product Grid > Content > Pagination". 'Enable Pagination' and 'External Pagination' options are turned on in the 'Product Grid' widget settings

Example (without a title): A demonstration of the Elementor 'Product Grid Pagination' widget

Product Grid Showing

Displays a results counter for the Product Grid, helping customers see how many products are currently being displayed and how many products are available in total. The counter automatically updates as customers change pages, adjust the number of products per page, or apply filters.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

You can fully customize the displayed text using the %start, %end, and %total placeholders. For example, the default text is Showing %start–%end of %total results, which dynamically changes based on the current grid state.

The %end value is automatically calculated based on the "Products Per Page" setting configured in the "Product Grid" widget.

The widget also includes simple styling options for text color and spacing, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into your shop layout.

Example: Snowing results on a Shop page

Showing %start-%end of %total results

Product Grid Sorting

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates of Shop Page type or any regular Elementor page;
Required: The widget must be used together with a Product Grid widget placed on the same page.

You can choose which sorting methods to make available, including Default, Popularity, Average Rating, Latest, Price: Low to High, and Price: High to Low, as well as define which option is selected by default when the page loads. This helps customers quickly find the products most relevant to them.

A Single Product Template Module can be enabled or disabled in in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General" settings.

When enabled, the module adds a new Single Product template type under "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates", along with a collection of Elementor widgets whose names begin with "Single Product". These widgets can be found in the ThemeREX Woo Templates widget group.

The module allows you to create fully customized layouts for individual product pages, giving you complete control over how product information is displayed and presented to customers.

How Single Product Templates Work

A Single Product Template is a TRX Woo Template of the "Single Product" type found under "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel" - an Elementor-built layout created using single product widgets. Each widget automatically displays data from the product currently being viewed, and during editing you can select a "Preview Product" to see how the template looks with real content.

Creating a Single Product Template

  1. Go to WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template.
  2. Choose "Single Product" as the template type.
  3. Enter a title for the template.
  4. Configure the template visibility using the Include and Exclude options. You can update these settings at any time from the Template Settings panel while editing the template.
  5. Click "Edit with Elementor" button and build your archive layout.
  6. Publish the template.

You can create multiple Single Product Templates for different product categories if they require different layouts.

Template Settings

Open a Single Product template and locate the Template Settings panel in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen: Settings located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen, Single Product Template

Field What it does
Include Select the product categories where this template should be used. Choose All Products to make it the global default Single Product Template. If no categories are selected, the template remains inactive and will not be used.
Exclude Select categories where the template should not be used. Excluded categories always take priority over included categories and also apply to their subcategories.

Template Assignment

Single Product Templates do not need to be assigned through the plugin settings.

Instead, the plugin automatically selects the appropriate template based on the Include and Exclude category rules configured for each Single Product Template. Once a template is published, it becomes available for automatic use.

PLEASE NOTE! The Include/Exclude rules can be configured either when creating a new template through the template creation popup or later while editing an existing TRX Woo Template using the Template Settings panel located in the bottom-right corner of the editor screen.

Single Product Template Examples

Explore several examples of single product pages built with custom WordPress themes and the ThemeREX WooCommerce Extensions for Elementor plugin. These layouts show different ways widgets can be combined to create engaging and effective product page designs.

Single Product Widgets

Single Product widgets can only be used within TRX Woo Templates of the "Single Product" type.

In the Elementor editor, these widgets can be found in the ThemeREX Woo Templates widget group. All Single Product widgets have names that begin with "Single Product", making them easy to locate in the Elementor panel.

Explore each widget below to learn its purpose, available settings, and how it can be used within your Shop Page Templates.

All widgets also include Elementor’s standard Style controls. These allow you to adjust typography, colors, borders, spacing, hover and active states, and responsive behavior. As these options are consistent across Elementor widgets, they are only referenced briefly and not described in detail for each individual widget.

Single Product Add to Cart

Shows the full purchase form for the current product, including quantity controls, variation selectors (for variable products), and the Add to Cart button. Use this widget to create a seamless purchasing experience and customize the styling of all form elements.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates, Single Product type;

This widget displays information from the active product. Since template editors don’t know which product will be viewed, you can select a Preview Product ID to load sample content for editing purposes. The selected preview product is used only in the editor and does not affect the front end.

The widget helps you:

  • Customize the Add to Cart button by setting its text, alignment, and optionally displaying the product price directly on the button using a custom price format (use %s as a placeholder for the price, e.g. - %s or (%s)).
  • Enable a Buy Now button with custom text to let customers skip the cart and proceed directly to checkout.
  • Display Size Guide button next to product variations and choose where they appear within the variation options. The Size Guide button opens a popup window with content created through the "Size Guide" templates.
  • Use variation-specific images for swatches - automatically updating attribute images based on the selected variation.
  • Hide stock availability messages - for a cleaner product page layout. You can show it with the Elementor "Single Product Stock" widget.

The Style tab provides customization options for quantity controls, Add to Cart and Buy Now buttons, stock availability messages, variation labels and values, variation descriptions, prices and dropdowns, all swatch types (color, image, button, and disabled states), as well as the Size Guide button and popup.

How to create content for Size Guide popup:

  1. Plugin v2.0+:
Go to "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template" and create a new TRX Woo Template with the "Size Guide" template type. Use the "Include" and "Exclude" options to define which product categories should display the tab and which should not.

    Plugin v1.1:
Go to "WP Dashboard > Products > Size Guide > Add New Size Guide" and create a new template. Use the "Include" and "Exclude" options (in the right vertical panel) to define which product categories should display the tab and which should not.
  2. Build the tab content using any Elementor widgets, then save the template.
  3. Open the template containing the "Single Product Add to Cart" widget (or reload the editor if it was already open).
  4. Navigate to "Edit Single Product Add to Cart > Content > Display Options".
  5. In the "Size Guide" section, enable Size Guide in Variations. Choose the position of the button.
  6. Save or update the template. The "Size Guide" button will now be available on the applicable product pages.

Displays the product information tabs on single product pages, including the default WooCommerce tabs — Description, Additional Information, and Reviews — as well as any custom tabs created through the ThemeREX WooCommerce Extensions templates: "Custom Tabs" and "Size Guides" (in a tab mode).

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates, Single Product type;

You can choose exactly which tabs to display, hide specific tabs, and control how they are presented. Tabs can be shown in the traditional tab layout or converted into an accordion with customizable open/close icons, toggle behavior, and animation effects. For products with only one visible tab, you can also choose whether to display its title.

The Reviews tab includes additional options, such as selecting the review layout (Classic, Sticky, or Popup), customizing the popup button text, and showing or hiding the average rating and rating breakdown by stars.

How to add custom tabs using "Custom Tabs" templates:

  1. Plugin v2.0+:
Go to "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template" and create a new TRX Woo Template with the "Custom Tab" template type. Use the "Include" and "Exclude" options to define which product categories should display the tab and which should not.

    Plugin v1.1:
Go to "WP Dashboard > Products > Custom Tabs > Add New Custom Tab" and create a new template. Use the "Include" and "Exclude" options (in the right vertical panel) to define which product categories should display the tab and which should not.
  2. Build the tab content using any Elementor widgets, then save the template.
  3. Open the template containing the "Single Product Tabs" widget (or reload the editor if it was already open).
  4. Navigate to "Edit Single Product Tabs > Content > Display Options".
  5. In the "Show Tabs" field, click the empty input area and select your newly created "Custom Tab" template from the list.
  6. Save or update the template. The custom tab will now be available on the applicable product pages.

PLEASE NOTE! Multiple "Custom Tab" templates can be added, allowing you to display several custom tabs on the same product page.

How to add custom tabs using "Size Guides" templates:

  1. Plugin v2.0+:
Go to "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template" and create a new TRX Woo Template with the "Size Guides" template type. Use the "Include" and "Exclude" options to define which product categories should display the tab and which should not.

    Plugin v1.1:
Go to "WP Dashboard > Products > Size Guides > Add New Size Guide" and create a new template. Use the "Include" and "Exclude" options (in the right vertical panel) to define which product categories should display the tab and which should not.
  2. Build the tab content using any Elementor widgets, then save the template.
  3. Make sure displaying Size Guides in tabs is enabled.
By default, the content from templates of "Size Guides" type is displayed in a popup window triggered by a button. You can find this setting in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Size Guide > Display type". You can switch here to "Custom Tabs" if you do not want any Size Guides popups.
Alternatively, this option can be overriden by the individual settings of a single product.
So, you should enable this functionality globally in the plugin’s setting or for a particular product.
  4. Open the template containing the "Single Product Tabs" widget (or reload the editor if it was already open).
  5. Navigate to "Edit Single Product Tabs > Content > Display Options".
  6. In the "Show Tabs" field, click the empty input area and select "All tabs". In the "Exclude Tabs" field specify the tabs you do not need.
  7. Save or update the template. The custom tab (Size Guides) will now be available on the applicable product pages.

Single Product Title

This widget displays the product name (placeholder) and lets you customize how it appears on the page. Choose the HTML tag (H1–H6, div, span, or p), optionally link the title to the product page, and set the text alignment to match your layout.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates, Single Product type;

This widget pulls its data from the product currently being viewed on the front end. While editing you pick a Preview Product ID so you can see real content in the editor ONLY!

Example: Here is how the Elementor 'Single Product Title' widget looks like on the front end

Single Product Upsells

Displays a grid of upsell products for the current item, helping customers discover additional items they may be interested in.

In WooCommerce, upsells are products that you want to recommend instead of or in addition to the currently viewed product, usually because they are a better, newer, more premium, or more profitable option.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates, Single Product type;

This widget dynamically pulls information from the current product on the front end. To preview the content while editing, choose a Preview Product ID — this affects the editor view only.

The widget uses the same layout and customization options as the "Related Products" widget, including the number of products, number of columns, sorting options (random, date, title, or price), and the option to hide the heading. You can also fully customize the appearance of the section, including the heading, product grid spacing, product cards, images, and titles to match your store design.

Upsell products are taken from the "Linked Products" section in WooCommerce product settings. The 'Linked Products' with Upsells settings on a single product, back-end view

The Swatches module replaces standard WooCommerce attribute dropdowns with more user-friendly color, image, or button swatches. Swatches can be displayed on single product pages, in product grids, and within attribute filter widgets, making it easier for customers to browse and select product variations.

The module can be enabled or disabled in in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General" settings.

To configure swatches, open WP Dashboard > Products > Attributes and choose how each attribute should be displayed: color, image, or button. Once configured, the appropriate swatch style is applied automatically throughout your store. The Type dropdown list with options for swatches in Products > Attributes

Examples of swatches include color circles for color options, image swatches for visual product styles, and button-style swatches for attributes such as size.

The Wishlist feature allows customers to save products for future purchase. It consists of three main components: product storage, wishlist buttons, and the wishlist page template created using the Wishlist widget.

Before using wishlist functionality, make sure the Wishlist module is enabled in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General".

How It Works

  • Storage: Wishlist items are automatically saved for both logged-in users and guests. Products saved by logged-in customers are stored in their account, while guest wishlists are stored in the browser. If a guest later logs in, their saved items are automatically merged into their account wishlist.
  • Buttons: Customers can add or remove products from their wishlist using the buttons in the header or menu (created by the "Wishlist Button" widget), as well as the wishlist controls displayed on product cards (the "Product Grid" widget) and single product pages (the "Single Product Add to Wishlist" widget). All wishlist buttons stay synchronized, so changes are reflected instantly throughout the store.
  • Wishlist Page: The Wishlist widget displays all products a customer has saved. Tell the plugin which template hosts it in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Templates > Wishlist Template". This allows wishlist buttons and the "My Account" area to link directly to the correct wishlist page.

Creating a Wishlist Page

  1. Enable the Wishlist module in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General" settings.
  2. Create a new TRX Woo template in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template" with "Wishlist" template type.
  3. Build your wishlist template using the Wishlist widget and save the template.
  4. Assign your template in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Templates > Wishlist Template".

PLEASE NOTE! A Wishlist tab appears automatically in the "My Account" widget when a Wishlist Template is set.

Here is an example of a custom Wishlist page in grid layout with product cards, Buy Now and Remove buttons:

Wishlist Widgets

The widgets listed below provide everything needed to build a complete Wishlist experience — from displaying saved products in different layouts to adding interactive buttons in the header or product listings. Together, they handle both how customers interact with the Wishlist and how saved items are presented on a dedicated page.

Wishlist

This widget provides the core functionality for the Wishlist feature.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates, Wishlist type;

To create a custom wishlist page: (plugin v2.0+)

The widget supports two layout styles: Style 1 (horizontal list) and Style 2 (grid view), both of which are fully responsive and allow column control for different screen sizes. You can also customize the placement of action buttons — either beneath product details or as overlay icon buttons on the product image.

Additional display options include toggles for showing category, rating, and an Add to Cart button (with customizable icon and text). You can also define the Remove item icon/text and adjust the title tag for product headings.

An optional Empty State section allows full customization of the wishlist’s empty view, including an icon, title, descriptive text, and a return-to-shop button or custom redirect URL shown when no items are present.

Example of Empty State: A demonstration of the Elementor 'Wishlist' widget in empty state

Example (Style 2 Grid): The Wishlist widget in grid layout — each saved product with rating, price and Buy Now / Remove actions.

Wishlist Button

Adds a Wishlist button to your site header or menu where customers need quick access to their saved products. The widget displays the current number of items in the wishlist and updates automatically as products are added or removed.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: header and menu areas.
On single product templates use the "Single Product Add to Wishlist" widget instead.

Choose between a Default style, which combines an icon and customizable text (for example, Wishlist (%d)), or a Simple style that displays an icon with a counter badge. You can select a custom icon, and the button will automatically link to the Wishlist page configured in the ThemeREX WooCommerce Extensions settings.

The Compare feature allows shoppers to select multiple products and view them side by side in a structured comparison table. It works similarly to the Wishlist system and is built around three core parts: a product storage layer, interactive compare buttons, and a dedicated page widget that displays the comparison results in an easy-to-read format.

To use compare functionality, enable the Compare module in in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General".

How It Works

  • Storage: Compare lists are saved automatically. For logged-in users, the data is stored in their account. For guests, it is kept in the browser (localStorage) and then merged into their account once they log in. Only product IDs are stored, keeping the data lightweight and fast.
  • Buttons: Customers can add or remove products from comparison using the Compare button in the header or menu (created by the "Compare Button" widget), the compare toggle inside product cards in the Product Grid, and the Add to Compare option on single product pages (the "Single Product Add to Compare" widget). All buttons stay fully synchronized, so changes are reflected instantly across the site.
  • Compare Page: The Compare widget displays products in a comparison table, with products shown in columns and attributes listed in rows for easy side-by-side evaluation. To activate it, assign the Compare template in the "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Templates > Compare Template" setting. This ensures all compare buttons and the My Account area correctly link to the comparison page.

Creating a Compare Page

  1. Enable the Compare module in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General" settings.
  2. Create a new TRX Woo template in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template" with "Compare" template type.
  3. Build your Compare template using the Compare widget and save the template.
  4. Assign your template in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Templates > Compare Template".

PLEASE NOTE! A Compare tab appears automatically in the "My Account" widget when a Compare Template is set.

The example below shows a custom Compare page with attribute labels displayed in the left-hand column, along with Buy Now and Remove buttons for each product.

Compare Widgets

The widgets below provide everything needed to build a complete product comparison experience. They allow customers to add products to a compare list, track the number of selected items, and view products side by side in a dedicated comparison table. Together, these widgets make it easier for shoppers to evaluate product features and choose the option that best fits their needs.

Compare

Displays saved products in a comparison table, with attributes aligned in rows for easy side-by-side comparison. Each product includes quick actions such as Add to Cart or Remove. Guest users’ data is stored in the browser (localStorage), while logged-in users see a server-synced version. An empty state is shown when no products have been added to the comparison list.

Example (Empty State): The front-end view of an empty state of the Compare page

Example: A Compare page displaying a comparison table with three products

Compare Button

Displays a Compare button with a live product counter, making it easy for customers to access their comparison list from the header, menu, or any widget area. The button automatically updates as products are added to or removed from the comparison list and links to the configured Compare page.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: header and menu areas.
For single product templates use the "Single Product Add to Compare" widget instead.

This widget includes the following settings:

  • Style - Choose between a text-based layout (icon + customizable text) or a compact layout with an icon and counter badge.
  • Icon - Select an icon.

Use the Style tab to further customize the widget’s appearance.

The My Account Page module allows you to create a fully customized WooCommerce account area using Elementor. It provides dedicated widgets for displaying account information, orders, downloads, addresses, account details, Wishlist and Compare tabs, and logout actions, while giving you complete control over the page layout and design.

Creating My Account Page

  1. Create a new TRX Woo template in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Templates > Add New Template" with "My Account" template type.
  2. Build My Account template using the My Account widget and save the template.
  3. Assign your template in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Templates > My Account Template".

Below is an example of custom My Account Page built using the plugin’s widgets and settings:

Wishlist page in grid layout with product cards, Buy Now and Remove

The section below provides a detailed description of the My Account widget and its available controls.

My Account

The My Account widget displays the complete WooCommerce account area — including Dashboard, Orders, Downloads, Addresses, Account Details, Wishlist, Compare, and Logout sections — with customizable labels and extensive styling options.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates, My Account type;
Required: A valid WooCommerce My Account page must exist on your site.

To create a custom My Account page: (plugin v2.0+)

Settings you can adjust:

  • Welcome Message - Type in the dashboard greeting (with username / log-out placeholders). Use %s to insert the username and logout URL dynamically. Leave the field blank to use the default WooCommerce message.
  • Tabs Labels - Specify the custom labels for each tab: Dashboard, Orders, Downloads, Addresses, Account Details, Logout.

For further customization, switch to the "Style" tab. There you can customize the navigation (position, spacing, and tab states), content sections, headings, text and links, buttons, form fields (including labels and descriptions), order/download tables, and address cards.

Wishlist & Compare tabs! The "Wishlist" tab appears automatically when a Wishlist Template is set, and the "Compare" tab when a Compare Template is set — both on the "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Templates" tab.

Example: An example of a custom My Account page

Beyond the core shop and product widgets, these additional widgets can be used to create promotional sections, highlight special offers, and enhance the overall layout of your WooCommerce store.

WooCommerce Banner

Creates a promotional WooCommerce banner to highlight offers, announcements, or special deals. The banner can include an icon, title, description text, and a call-to-action button. The button can either open a link or copy a coupon code for quick use.

You can choose how the content is displayed — either as inline content or by using a saved template — and control where the banner appears using Include/Exclude rules for specific product categories.

To output a coupon, please create it first in "WP Dashboard > Marketing > Coupons".

Example (saved template): WooCommerce Banner created using a saved Elementor template

Example (inline content): WooCommerce Banner created using inline content

WooCommerce Coupon

Displays a button that allows customers to instantly copy a WooCommerce coupon code to their clipboard. This is a convenient way to promote discounts and special offers anywhere on your site, such as landing pages, banners, product pages, or promotional sections.

Select any published WooCommerce coupon, customize the button text, and configure a confirmation tooltip message that appears after the code is copied. The tooltip can include the coupon code dynamically and can be displayed for a customizable amount of time, providing clear feedback to customers that the coupon is ready to use.

How to create a Woocommerce coupon:

  • Go to "WP Dashboard > Marketing > Coupons" and click "Add New Coupon".
  • Configure the coupon using the available WooCommerce settings (discount type, amount, usage restrictions, expiration date, etc.).
  • Click Publish to make the coupon available.
  • Open the page or template where you want to display the coupon and add the "WooCommerce Coupon" widget.
  • In the widget settings, select the coupon you created and customize the remaining options as needed.
  • Save your changes.

Customers will now be able to copy the coupon code directly from the widget and use it during checkout.

Example (with custom background image and thin border): A button to copy the coupon code

WooCommerce Notices

Renders WooCommerce’s success / error / info notices wherever you place it (useful on custom cart/checkout layouts). Choose which Notice Types to display, their alignment, and an editor-only preview. Each type has its own colour styling.

PLEASE NOTE!
Where to use: TRX Woo Templates, Single Product type;

Example (Success Notice on a single product page): A notice of successful adding a product to a cart on a single product page

The Out of Stock Position module helps improve the shopping experience by automatically moving out-of-stock products to the end of product listings. This ensures that customers see available products first when browsing your store.

To use this feature:

  1. Enable the module in "WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General".
  2. Go to "WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory" and enable the Move 'Out of Stock' products to the end of the product list option. Move 'Out of Stock' products to the end of the product list option in the WooCommerce settings

Once configured, the module works automatically across your store. It affects the main shop page, product category and tag archives, and any product listings created with the Product Grid widget. Out-of-stock products remain at the end of the list regardless of the selected sorting method, and the behavior is preserved when customers use AJAX-powered sorting, filtering, or pagination.

In the Elementor panel, under the "ThemeREX Woo Templates group" (or search by name). If a widget is missing, check it’s enabled on the WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General settings tab.
  1. Confirm the Archive Product Template module is enabled under "WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > General".
  2. Confirm you have a published TRX Woo Template of the "Shop Page" type whose "Include" is set to "All products" (the global template covering the shop and any unmapped category), or one that Includes the specific category.
  3. Make sure the Product Grid’s Source (Elementor "Product Grid" widget settings under "Content > Query") is set to Main so it follows the current archive query.
Filters and the "Product Grid" widget must be on the same page/template. Place the "Product Grid" widget (Source = Main) and the filter widgets together; they connect automatically and refresh via AJAX.
Set the Wishlist Template (and/or Compare Template) on the WP Dashboard > WooCommerce/Theme Panel > TRX Woo Extensions > Templates tab. Without it, the buttons and the "My Account" tab have nowhere to link (the widget itself still works on its page).
Create a TRX Woo Template of type "Single Product" and add that category to its "Include" — it overrides the global single-product template for that category and its sub-categories.
All styling is done through the Elementor controls — you should never need to edit CSS. If you maintain the plugin source, note that styles are compiled from SCSS automatically; edit the .scss sources, not the generated .css.
If the ThemeREX Addons plugin is also active, the plugin’s settings and templates appear inside the theme’s Theme Panel. If not, the settings and templates appear under WooCommerce. Everything else works identically.
If the ThemeREX Addons plugin is also active, the plugin’s settings and templates appear inside the theme’s Theme Panel. If not, the settings and templates appear under WooCommerce. Everything else works identically.
The shop/category/tag archive and the single-product pages do not require any assignment. You control which template applies to them with each TRX Woo Template’s own Include/Exclude category rules ("Shop Page" and "Single Product" template types). These templates are applied automatically as soon as they are saved.

We recommend using Poedit software for translation-related purposes.

To translate the plugin into your language, please follow these steps:

  1. Download and install Poedit software. The upper part of the Poedit website with the 'Free Download' software button
  2. Navigate to the trx-wcext/languages/ folder and locate the .pot file. Copy it to your desktop for editing. .pot file in ftp client
  3. Double-click on the .pot file. In the Poedit window click on the "Create New Translation" button, choose the necessary language of the translation from the dropdown list, and click "OK." Choosing a language of translation via Poedit
  4. Now select the constant text string you need to translate from the "Source text - English" field and type in the necessary translation into the "Translation" field.
You can translate as much as you want, just go through the file and click on each string in "Poedit" and add your translation. Selecting a constant text string to translate via Poedit and typing in the necessary translation
  5. Next, you have to save the changes to your .po file using the naming convention based on the code. To do that click on the "sheet" icon (you can also use hotkeys CMD + Shift + S in OS X or Win+S in Windows) and type in the name according to the screenshot below.

PLEASE NOTE! Translation files for some languages have a code consisting only of the language code (e.g., uk.po for Ukrainian), while others have a code consisting of the language code and the country code separated by an underscore (e.g., de_DE.po for deutch in Germany or es_PE.po for spanish in Peru).

However, some languages are spoken in several countries natively. In this case, the difference is in the first and second letter pairs; for the UK, the code would be en_GB, whereas the en_US stands for the USA.

You can find the code you need in your website’s database in the wp_options table under the WPLANG option value. The correct naming convention in the database table Alternatively, you can open Settings > General in your website’s admin panel, right-click on the Site Language field, and select Inspect from the context menu. This will open the developer panel, where you can view the codes for all available languages. The correct naming convention in the database table Here are the links from the GNU website: Language Codes and Country Codes.

PLEASE NOTE! If you use the wrong naming convention WordPress can not process your translation. Saving a new file with translation
  6. When saving your .po file, Poedit automatically creates a new .mo file, with the same naming convention. According to the example above, the file would be called pt_BR.mo. .po and .mo files in ftp client
  7. Upload the .po and .mo files you just created to the .../languages folder. Make sure these files are in the same directory as the default.pot one.
  8. There is a trx-wcext.po file in .../wp-content/plugins/trx-wcext/languages directory.
Generate the .po and .mo files according to your language. See the file names in the example below:
    trx_addons-pt_BR.po, trx_addons-pt_BR.mo.
Make sure that the language of your files is the same as in your WordPress admin panel > Settings > General Settings section.
